Terms of Use

These terms apply to the GoFly app for iOS ("GoFly", "the app") and this website. By downloading or using GoFly, you agree to them. If you obtained GoFly through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Not for operational use
GoFly is a planning and training aid only. It is not certified for flight operations and must not be used as a primary source for navigation, weather, or weight and balance decisions. Always verify calculations against your aircraft's Pilot's Operating Handbook, current weighing record, and official sources. As pilot in command, you are solely responsible for the safe planning and conduct of your flights.
License
GoFly is licensed to you, not sold, for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Unlock forever is a one-time purchase that unlocks the full app permanently on your Apple account.
- The monthly plan auto-renews each month until canceled. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your device Settings under your Apple account subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- All billing, receipts, and refunds are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may change; changes never apply retroactively to a completed purchase.
Weather data
The METAR decoder fetches reports from the NOAA Aviation Weather Center (aviationweather.gov), a third-party service we do not control. Weather data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable, and is provided as-is. It is not a substitute for an official preflight weather briefing.
No warranty
GoFly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make the calculations correct, but we do not warrant that the app is error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of GoFly, including decisions made in connection with flight planning or operations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
